Educational Objectives

The University of Lampung's Master of Chemistry Study Program aims to:

  1. Produce graduates who are professional, possess integrity, character, and piety, and are able to contribute to the development of chemical science and technology.
  2. Produce and develop chemical science and technology that is innovative, applicable, and beneficial for local, national, and global development.
  3. Improve public knowledge, skills, and literacy in solving chemistry-related problems.
  4. Build strategic partnerships with various stakeholders at home and abroad to support academic development, research, and innovation.

  2. Able to design, implement, and evaluate laboratory-based learning and research with modern techniques (spectroscopy, chromatography, chemical computation, etc.);
  3. Upholding academic ethics, occupational safety (K3), and regulations related to chemicals in higher education activities.
2Chemical Researcher
  1. Able to conduct independent and collaborative research in the field of chemistry that is oriented towards sustainability science, such as green chemistry, renewable energy, functional materials, and biotechnology;
  2. Skilled in developing research-based innovations, such as nanomaterials, biomaterials, catalysts, and applied chemical products that are beneficial to industry and society;
  3. Mastering modern research approaches, including computational modeling, bioinformatics, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for the analysis and prediction of chemical phenomena.
3Chemistry Educator
  1. Understand the application of chemistry in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental, and energy industries, and be able to carry out quality control, method validation, and laboratory management according to ISO/IEC 17025 standards;
  2. Skilled in identifying and solving practical problems related to waste management, production process optimization, and sustainable use of local resources;
  3. Adaptive to developments in industry 4.0 technology, including laboratory automation, big data analytics, and digitalization of chemical processes.
