The entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of students appeared to color the implementation of the Entrepreneurship Bazaar organized by the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), University of Lampung. This activity, which is part of the implementation of the Entrepreneurship Course for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, is a forum for students from the class of 2024 to apply entrepreneurial knowledge through direct business experience.
Located in the Academic Park of the Chemistry Department, FMIPA, University of Lampung, the bazaar presents various products resulting from student innovation which are marketed directly to the academic community. Through this activity, students not only learn about entrepreneurship theory in the classroom, but also gain real experience in designing, managing and developing a business.
A variety of creative products were exhibited in the bazaar, ranging from various foods and drinks, health products, to science-based products that have useful value in everyday life. All products are developed by students in groups, with each team being responsible for the entire business process, starting from preparing business concepts, product development, marketing strategies, financial management, to evaluating sales results.
The bazaar is carried out in waves so that each class has the opportunity to prepare activities optimally. Class A students will hold a bazaar on 4–6 May 2026, followed by Class B on 11–13 May 2026, and Class C on 19–21 May 2026. This division of schedules allows each group to run their business more effectively while providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the various products on offer.
Apart from being part of the learning process, the entrepreneurship bazaar also provides valuable experience for students in dealing with the dynamics of the business world. During the activity, students learn to recognize consumer needs, develop attractive promotional strategies, communicate with customers, and evaluate the effectiveness of the business strategies implemented. This experience is an important provision in building entrepreneurial skills that are relevant to the needs of today's world of work and industry.
This activity helps develop various skills needed in the 21st century, such as the ability to communicate, work together in teams, think creatively, innovate, lead, and solve problems effectively.
