Entrepreneurship Internship Conversion Seminar: Creating an Impactful Campus by Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Unila Chemistry Students

The Chemistry Department, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung held an Entrepreneurship Internship Conversion Seminar on Wednesday, June 24 2026 at the Student Excellence Center (SEC) of the Chemistry Department, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung. This activity is part of the final evaluation of the Entrepreneurship Internship program equivalent to 7 credits which was participated in by undergraduate students in the Chemistry Study Program in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

The internship program was carried out at ChemCafe, an entrepreneurship unit managed by the Chemistry Department, FMIPA Unila as a practice-based learning facility for students. Through this program, students not only learn the concept of entrepreneurship in class, but are also directly involved in the process of product development, marketing, customer service, financial management, and real business evaluation.

In the seminar, students presented the results of internship activities in the form of business development and analysis of various innovative products, including Mix Platter, Jasuke (Corn Milk Cheese), Fruit Salad and Cut Fruit, OreBites, and Yellow Rice. Apart from explaining the production process and marketing strategy, students also present business feasibility analysis, financial reports, and evaluation of product performance while being marketed through ChemCafe.

Seminar activities provide a forum for students to practice scientific communication skills, think critically, and take responsibility for the results of their work in front of supervisors and examiners. It is hoped that the various inputs provided will provide provisions for students in developing more innovative and sustainable business ideas.

The implementation of this program is in line with the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy and supports the spirit of Impact Campus, namely providing learning that provides real benefits for students and the community. Through direct experience managing a business, students gain entrepreneurial competencies that are relevant to the needs of the world of work while increasing their ability to create business opportunities independently.

By holding this Entrepreneurship Internship Conversion Seminar, the Chemistry Department, FMIPA, Universitas Lampung continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing graduates who not only excel in the fields of science and technology, but are also adaptive, creative, innovative, and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit to face future challenges.
